First, we thank you for your willingness to help in this amazing program, we are so excited to put everything together and be able to work alongside you all.
For those who do not know, Essence of Emory is a spring overnight visitation program for
recently admitted students who are from first-generation and/or
underrepresented cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds hosted by the Offfice of Undergraduate Admissions. This program takes course over three days. Students will fly in on Thursday, April 13 and will depart on Saturday, April 15. During this time these students will have a taste of what Emory is. We would love and appreciate all the help that we can get to make this a wonderful and memorable experience for these students.
Below we have provided options for volunteer options, you can choose to just volunteer during the day or express an interest in wanting to volunteer for hosting students in your dorm room. Please Note: To HOST, you must live on campus (either first-year or second-year housing, excluding Greek Housing and Clairmont Campus).
